Incorrect changes in GitHub with Protege edits

Sagar Jain
Hi Protege group,

When making changes to definitions in Protege for an Ontology, GitHub reflects over 400 changes, which does not depict the version changes.

Is there a way to avoid this to display accurate changes in GitHub? Another recommended tool?

Thanks,
Sagar

Have you tried the Ontology Difference plugin? Install it by going to File/Check for plugins…. Once it is installed, run Tools/Compare ontologies...

With best regards,
Samson

The diff issue should be largely resolved if you use the latest Protege:
https://github.com/owlcs/owlapi/issues/273

You may still want to use this:
https://github.com/ShahimEssaid/git-owl-tools

Which provides nice human readable diffs with rdfs:labels when you type
"git diff" etc
