OWLDoc

grantpax
When trying to export, I get this:

Error 2 Logged at Fri Oct 11 10:22:03 EDT 2013
NullPointerException: null
    org.semanticweb.owlapi.util.OntologyIRIShortFormProvider.getShortForm(OntologyIRIShortFormProvider.java:72)
    org.coode.html.url.StaticFilesURLScheme.getURLForOWLObject(StaticFilesURLScheme.java:76)
    org.coode.html.OntologyExporter.exportOntology(OntologyExporter.java:191)
    org.coode.html.OntologyExporter.export(OntologyExporter.java:159)
    org.coode.browser.protege.ExportOWLDocAction$1.run(ExportOWLDocAction.java:78)
    java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:680)

It seems Nick Drummond, the developer, has moved on to greener pastures. Is this plugin dead?

Hello Grant,

I tested OWLDoc with the example pizza ontology and it worked fine for me (Protege 4.3.0, build 304 and OWLDoc 2.0.0).

Are you able to send some steps to reproduce your exception?

We don't officially support this plug-in, but if it's something easy to fix, we might be able to find some time to put a new version out.

Alternatively, if you'd like to view your ontology in a web browser, I'm wondering if you've considered WebProtege (http://webprotege.stanford.edu)?  You can upload your ontologies to our hosted version here at Stanford, or install WebProtege locally.

I will try to reproduce on a smaller ontology. Thank you for trying on the pizza ontology.
