Re: [protege-beta] Protege 3.2 Beta update (build 243)

Shepherd, Michael

Hi,

I just installed the latest beta build 243 and built a new project from
my existing owl file.
In the OWLClasses tab, I no longer see the properties widget next to
asserted conditions.  Is there a way to force it to reappear?  Or is
this an issue?

Thanks,

Mike

There is a new beta build available on our Web site:

http://protege.stanford.edu/download/prerelease/full/
http://protege.stanford.edu/download/prerelease/basic/

Changes in Core Protege & Protege-Frames
----------------------------------------
1. Included an updated version (1.4) of the JessTab tab widget plug-in.

2. Included an updated version of the Prompt tab widget plug-in.  Thanks
go to Abhita Chugh for contributing the following changes:

a). In PromptDiff, you can now view the old and the new versions of a
class side-by-side.
b). In PromptDiff, there is a counter that shows how many changed
classes are remaining (located above the class hierarchy on the Prompt
tab).
c). In PromptDiff, you can now save your project in the middle of doing
accepts/rejects. When you restart, you will be at the same state in
terms of accepting/rejecting changes that you were in when you saved.

Changes in Protege-OWL
----------------------
1. Added a new finder to the main OWL tabs.

2. Added DL Syntax class display - DL symbol prefix notation in the
conditions widget and elsewhere.

3. Fixed a bug with inconsistent classes not showing up in the reasoner
results window.

Hi,

I have a related problems. The OWL tab has at the bottom two buttons,
where you can select logic view or property view. In the  pizza example
file, everything works as expected. In my own files the radar butons are
not available and the default view without property widget appears.

Re: [protege-beta] Protege 3.2 Beta update (build 243)

Matthew Horridge
Hi Mike, Andreas,

This is a bug - the buttons should be there (you can then switch to
the properties view using the buttons).  I've fixed the problem, and
the fix will appear in the next beta.  In the mean time, you could
use the forms tab to edit the form for owl:Class - replace the
ClassAnnotationsAndPropertiesWidget with the
SwitchableClassDefinitionWidget.

Cheers,

Matthew
