Re: protege-user Digest, Vol 42, Issue 21

Hi, Lorenz

here are the steps:

1. Click Reasoner
2. Start Pellet
3. after 30 seconds, the reasoner generated the inferred property assertions
4. Click File-> Export inferred axioms as inferred ontology
5 Only select Property assertion (property values)
6. at last, click finish.
7. After 13 minuets, the system generated the inferred ontology successfully.

I attached my ontology with this email as well.

Thanks a lot!!

Best,
Haonan

Hi all,

I have a general question about Pellet reasoning and save the inferred
object property assertions.

I have made some rules, and it does not take that much time to give me the
inferred result after starting the Pellet reasoner.

But why is it the case that it takes much more time to save the inferred
result to an ontology?

Could anyone please share your thoughts and insights?

Best,
Claire

Hello,

I am trying to use ontoviz with protege 3.4.[ I need to use it ].
I read and follow some old posts about this issue.it is same steps in the
documentation.
- I am following the steps in the documentation
https://protegewiki.stanford.edu/wiki/OntoViz
   - Download Graphviz 2.38
   - I change the Protege property to the new path.
   - I add the path to the Environment Variables.

I open the newspaper example to test the ontoviz, nothing has shown up. It
seems that I miss something.

I Appreciation any help or an idea about how to solve it.

Thanks..
