I just noticed that Protégé redirect the Dublin Core Uri
(http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/) to a specific file on its website (http://protege.stanford.edu/plugins/owl/dc/protege-dc.owl).
The problem is that when the website is down, Protégé
crashes when loading an ontology that is annotated with Dublin Core metadata. Maybe
this “redirection” should be to a local directory with the rest of
the installed plugins? That would simplify the task to save the protege-dc.owl into a local directory and create
a new Global Repository entry.
