Bohms, H.M. (Michel)

Some suggestions:

-          Make project description when uploading optional

-          Now and then I see topObjectproperty and topdatatypeproperty added: better not

-          In general please do not any own info/name spaces etc. to the uploaded file

-          Make stuff clickable to be able to browse through classes/individuals

Gr Michel

Hi Michel,

-          Make project description when uploading optional

Added as an issue https://github.com/protegeproject/webprotege/issues/76

-          Now and then I see topObjectproperty and topdatatypeproperty added: better not

-          In general please do not any own info/name spaces etc. to the uploaded file

Sorry, please can you describe what you do and what happens?  It’s not clear to me what you mean.

-          Make stuff clickable to be able to browse through classes/individuals

This is on our agenda and is part of a larger refactoring of the UI (to support places and activities in gwt speak).

Cheers,

Matthew

Re: various

Bohms, H.M. (Michel)

Perfect thx

Wrt point 3:

When upload my ttl and download again all kind of stuff is added:

Examples:

1. <http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/date> "Nov 11, 2013 5:19:30 PM"^^xsd:dateTime ;

2. <http://protege.stanford.edu/webprotege/revision> 1 ;

3. <http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/creator> "system"^^xsd:string ;

Comments like:

4.rdfs:comment "This ontology was generated from an ontology revision in WebProtégé http://vcon1.tno.nl:8080/webprotege/"^^xsd:string ,

(note the wrong characters sometimes causing problems in other systems)

5. Sections like:

#################################################################

#

#    Datatypes

#

#################################################################

6. All the redundant comment info like:

###  http://qudt.org/vocab/quantity#Power

And finally:

7. ###  Generated by the OWL API (version 3.4.3-SNAPSHOT) http://owlapi.sourceforge.net

Maybe others find the additions useful so maybe you can make it on option when downloading?

Thanks for the clarification.  1-4 are webprotege issues and we have an item in the track for these.  6 - 7 are OWL API issues (although it would be up to wp to turn this behaviour off).

Cheers,

Matthew
